High Risk Obstetrical Consultants, also known as HiROC, is a team of high-risk obstetricians and other healthcare professionals who provide state-of-the-art care for women with risk factors that may affect their pregnancy. HiROC's experienced team includes maternal-fetal medicine specialists, diabetic educators, genetic counselors, sonographers, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and clinical support staff.
We are a proud member of the State of Tennessee Regional Perinatal Centers. The Regional Perinatal Centers provide and ensure an appropriate, accessible high-risk perinatal and neonatal health care system that meets the needs of high risk infants and women in Tennessee. We are one of only five centers across the entire state and one of only four locations to achieve accreditation as a Level IV obstetrics provider. We are also proud to be affiliated with the University of Tennessee Medical Center and their Center for Women and Infants. The University of Tennessee Medical Center is the region's only academic medical center. The medical center is a Level IV obstetric provider and Level III neonatal care provider, which means it is certified to care for the the most complex maternal medical conditions, obstetric complications, and fetal conditions in the East region.
